I’ve been a fan of Chromeo since… well, since I heard their name was “Chromeo.” Their latest album, Business Casual, while solid, tended to load the memorable songs – “Night By Night,” “Hot Mess,” “I’m Not Contagious” – in the first half. To be completely honest, the original version of their latest remixed song, “When The Night Falls,” produced with Solange Knowles, was mostly forgettable; one of their more generic offerings.

Breakbot’s remix turns it into an eighties-style classic, reminiscent of Whitney Houston in her “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” years. Cheesy? Yes. Will I be dancing to it if it comes on this weekend? Yes, please.
