Angus and Juila Stern’s track, “Big Jet Plane,” always had a shoegazy quality to it – those synths, that guitar line, those “hey-eys” just gave it a “Sweetness and Light” quality to it. Now Stern*’s got his hands on it, and added a disco line to the track. I can’t decide whether it puts me to sleep or soothes me. Probably both… in a good and bad way, depending on my mood.

It certainly improves on the original. All you have to know about it is that it was “featured in Maybelline commercials.”
