Skrillex is all the rage these days. Apparently he’s also in an emo band that was fairly popular in the last decade. There’s little of that expressiveness in his recent deluge of dubstep tracks, including my favorite of the subgenre at the moment: a vitriol-infused remix of Gaga called Die This Way. Other mashers, MCs, etc. recognize his abrasive sound-producing prowess and pay tribute by adding their own touches to his growing catalog of music.
