DJ 21azy has a simple formula for mashup success – take a track (or two or three) with a nicely mastered pop hook, mix in a rap, and let it go. It’s not complicated – it’s just a couple of great songs mixed together. It’s funny how stuff like this gets so little press, while Kanye West can take similarly excellent backgrounds and mix in his own subpar raps and the populace calls it brilliant. I call foul.
