Lemâitre – “Coffee Table”
The word to describe this track would be “sugar-coated.” Not saccharine, not bubble gum: sugar-coated. As in, when you listen to it you can almost literally feel crystals of sugar coating the song, inside and out. That sugary Passion Pit sheen sets the tone for this just-released song from Norway-based DJ duo Lemâitre, off their album Relativity. It’s refreshing to hear original music bringing this kind of electro-pop production.
