Grizzly Bear’s upcoming album may not yet have a name, but it’s on everyone’s minds. One of indie rock’s most beloved bands have been away for a while, but their new single, “Sleeping Ute,” is a welcome return. There is something classic yet unexpected in its sound, as Daniel Rossen’s guitar slashes its way though distorted, psychadelic swirls of sound. In its second half, the song collapses is a mesmerizing pool of acoustic bliss; a heavenly glimpse at what’s to come on the band’s full-length.
