Ah, the magic of the internet. What other series of interconnected tubes brings you quality full-length EPs straight to your computer, for free? Two-man hip-hop / electronic group Chill Bump just put up the entirety of their latest release, Hidden Strings, on their website with a free download. We’re happy to report that it’s some of the best production material out there, with nary a hint of amateur messing around in sight. Every one of these five tracks – yes, even the “intermission,” which is more of a series of interestingly spliced together samples over a catchy half-ambient beat – is worth listening to. Which makes me think – why aren’t musicians releasing less instead of more? Nobody wants the Ringo Starr level material.

Composed of producer Bankal and emcee Miscellaneous, Chill Bump hails from France. This is their third album. We’re pleased to be able to present it in its entirety.
