Here’s the swingin’ new single off Tame Impala’s upcoming LP, Lonerism, “Apocalypse Dreams.” The album isn’t due to be released until October, but the dreamy and psychadelic “Apocalypse Dreams” is more than satisfying enough to hold you off til then. The song builds into a dreamy space flight, with sky-rocketing synths and far-out, melodic vocals that fade gracefully into nothingness; like the best of vintage ELO meets Of Montreal, with a little Ziggy Stardust thrown in for good measure.
